Description
International music is the music of the world. In this sense, we're referring mainly to non-Western music. Western music is rooted in such things as an eight note school with the A note holding firm at 440 mhz. Interestingly, even the frequency and pitch of the notes may differ in international musics and, as we are conditioned nearly from birth to understand music in our traditional scales, it may sound exotic and even cacophonous to untrained ears. Yet international music offers much to the patient listener. Take a look at some of these websites and learn about international music through the authors of these lovely shrines.
