Major league soccer, or MLS for short, is a relatively new league, based in the United States. While it did well initially, attendance has been flagging recently. Nevertheless, the quality of this, the first outdoor American soccer league in a very long time, is consistently high. You'll find a variety of world stars in the league and the level of support from the cities with team across the country is uniformly high.
