Submission Guidelines and Rules: (aka - How to submit a new link or article.)

SuperLinksDirectory.com is a human-edited internet directory of quality content website links, and articles categorized by topic for easy navigation. The directory is hierarchically arranged by subject, from broad to specific.

Our goal is to provide as useful a directory as possible for our users. We do not strive to include all sites that could fit into any given sub-category. Therefore, we pride ourselves in being highly selective of the links and articles which are accepted into our directory. Please do not be offended if we should choose not to accept your submitted link or article.

In order to assist us in exercising our editorial discretion, we have set up policies for submitting sites and articles for our consideration. We may reject, delete, or edit submissions that violate these policies or that we otherwise believe, in our sole discretion, should not be included in SuperLinksDirectory.com. We may also reject, delete, or block other sites that we believe to be associated with any user who has violated these policies.

Please take a few moments to understand our submission policies and/or the steps to submit a site before you begin. Failure to understand and follow these guidelines often results in the rejection of a submission.

Step One:

Determining whether a site or article is appropriate for submission to SuperLinksDirectory.com

SuperLinksDirectory.com has a strict policy against the inclusion of sites with illegal content. Examples of illegal material include child pornography; libel; material which infringes any intellectual property rights; material that specifically advocates, solicits or abets illegal activity (such as fraud or violence).
Do not submit sites which are currently "under construction". Wait until a site is complete before submitting it. Sites that are incomplete, contain "under construction" notices, or contain broken graphics or links will be rejected.
All site submissions and articles must be in English. Non-English sites and articles will be rejected.
Do not submit mirror sites. Mirror sites are those which contain identical content, but have different URLs.
Do not submit URLs or articles that contain only the same or similar content as other sites or articles listed in our directory. Sites which have overlapping or repetitive content are not helpful to users of the directory. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites.
Do not disguise your submission and submit the same URL more than once.
Do not submit any site with an address that redirects to another address.
Do not submit affiliate coded links.
Sites which primarily contain links selling affiliate products will be rejected.
Under most situations we will not accept "inside page links" of your website.

Step Two:

Please do a quick search in our directory and be sure that your site isn't already listed.

Step Three:

Identify the single best sub-category for your site or article. This is the single biggest issue that we see with submissions to our directory. We currently have hundreds of categories/sub-categories listed in our directory and add more as needed or when appropriate. You should submit your site or article to the single most relevant sub-category. Submissions which have been submitted to inappropriate or unrelated categories may be rejected or removed. Please do not be offended if the site reviewer determines that a submission should be placed in a different sub-category than the one requested at the time of submission.

Step Four:

Once you have determined the best sub-category for your site or submission, go directly to that sub-category within SuperLinksDirectory.com and then click on the "Add URL" or "Add Article" link (as appropriate). Follow the instructions on the submission form carefully. The Description of sites should describe the content of the site concisely and accurately. The description should not be a sales pitch or promotional in nature. Submitting a sales pitch or promotional description instead of an objective, well written description may significantly delay your site or article from being listed or prevent it from being listed at all. Auto-submission software is a violation of this procedure and attempts have been put into place to prevent use of those types of programs. Submissions which have been submitted using these programs will be deleted.

Procedure After Your Site or Article has been Submitted

A SuperLinksDirectory.com editor will review your submission to determine whether to include it in the directory. Depending on factors such as the volume of submissions and articles to the directory as well as editor availabilty - it may take several weeks or more before your submission is reviewed. Please only submit a link or article to the directory once. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites. Again, disguising your submission and submitting the same link more than once is not permitted.

Editorial Discretion

SuperLinksDirectory.com editors reserve the right to refuse any submission for inclusion in our directory for any reason. This discretion extends, but is not limited, to what sites, articles and categories are included in the directory, where in our directory the sites are placed, whether and when to include one or more links to a site, content of an article, or the content and description of a link submission. Please understand that discretion which is exercised by our editors may not treat all submissions equally. You may not always agree with our choices, but we hope you will recognize that they will do their best to make fair, reasonable and objective decisions which are in the best interest of our directory and the users it serves.
