Institutes abound in the art world, each with its own specific purpose. Often the goal is to enlighten curious visitors as well as provide workshops where people can come together, again to deepend their understanding of the art world. A great example of this is the Brookfield Craft Center. Brookfield offers one of the widest and most varied hands-on fine crafts workshop programs in the nation; providing high quality education for all ages and interest levels. It is these types of opportunities which collectively serve to augment the cultural value of specific art and create longer lasting support of the arts through a diverse and scalable platform.
